We're just days away from the commencement of school and if you have not already sorted your wardrobe, here is a back-to-school outfit inspiration just for you.

As the 1st of January chimes in, and all the hype over Christmas and new beginnings blow over, reality sets in as the days of freedom before the commencement of yet another new school term become unnervingly numbered. While we all know that school itself isn't all that exciting per se, dressing up might just be one of the few perks that make school life a tad more bearable.

For the perfect back to school attire, we're all about functionality and comfort. Battle the merciless cold of lecture halls with a jumper - a printed one at that - and keep in style with a denim number for the bottom, be it a pair of shorts or boyfriend jeans, distressed or faded. Footwear wise, a classic and trusty pair of chucks will be your best bet for maximising both comfort and style, simultaneously. Sport a bandana over your forehead to spice up your attire and opt for a Marc by Marc Jacobs' laptop bag for easy maneuvering around with your handy dandy notebook.

As late nights are almost inevitable, a good concealer is a definite must-have in your back to school kit to compensate for all the midnight studying madness. Also, don't forget a subtle lip gloss for added colour on your face just before your daily dash to school!
