This season’s chic mid-heels are essential if you’re looking comfort and style. Here are some of our favourite styles.

While in terms of flats and high heels, this fall has plenty to offer; when it comes to the mid-heel, the search for styles and new trends has become a proper treasure hunt. This means that things are looking up as the best part of a treasure hunt is to find that prize at the end of the rainbow!

And indeed we did find some. The fall runways for mid-heels extend the summer for a few months longer by bringing into the new season sandals and lightweight shoes that leave the ankles uncovered. The feet weren’t really ready to be hid away just as yet and still ask for some recognition!

So, what makes fall sandals different from their summer cousins? Mainly, it comes down to a change of palette. The colours take on darker hues and autumn matt greens thus entering tones befitting of fall.

This is a general trend, with the exception of the reds. While reds still preserve an autumnal hue and tend to lean towards burgundy, they convey that we’ve not yet given into winter and that summer passion is taking the last few steps on the sidewalk.

Reds are found in many materials, including velour, printed textile, crochet, snake skin and leather.

Little remains in the mid-heel arena that doesn’t bleed into the “ankle boot”. While the flat ankle boot still carries buckles and various accessories, the mid-heel boot comes with a much more feminine touch to it, abandoning the masculine stomp featured heavily in the low heel styles.

Feminine, comfortable and most importantly, stylish – Find some mid-heel rare catches in our selection below.

Happy hunt!
