If you ask us what the epitome of luxury and finesse is, we have to say it lies in an exquisitely made watch. Cue the latest Les Éternelles De Chanel High Jewellery watch collection, which just screams splendour and impeccable craftsmanship. Honestly, who could resist not looking at your wrist and finding one of these brilliant pieces of work gracing it?
For this collection, Chanel drew on some fairly fundamental inspirations that are center to the French house, namely the mystery of comets, the simplicity of camellias and the lightness of feathers. Along with inexplicable craftsmanship, the time tellers may technically be complex but yet retain a soothing hint of elegance.
Our favourite has to The Camelia’s Secret. Created as a tribute to the flower that Gabrielle Chanel was so enraptured by – thanks to its simplicity – the watch is adorned with immaculate diamonds to make up the vision of a beautiful garden. Graced with flowers and leaves, your eyes will eventually fall on the tiny camelia that shifts up to reveal the dial that’s lined with baguette diamonds.
That’s not to say the other two – The Comete’s Secret and The Feather’s Secret – are any less divine. Each being tributes to Gabrielle Chanel make them all the more covetable.
Now staring at the time may just become a habit with any of these ethereal pieces on.
