Psychedelic prints, holographic sheens, metallic finishes, ostrich textures – you name it, we picked it.

While the arrival of the second quarter of the year signifies the closure of yet another heart-stopping season of fashion weeks featuring supermarket runways, fairy tale fashion and even drone cameras, it also means the start of refreshing your wardrobe to update it with the latest trends hot off the runway – handbags being the top priority of course.

This time, opt for de-constructed bags with slouchy silhouettes for their laid back style that have been adopted by many designers and were ubiquitous in many shows. Do away with rigidity and form for once and tone down the ‘preppy’ factor to look effortlessly chic in your outfits. For starters, Burberry’s crush bags are immensely huggable and works with any outfit like a charm. Trust us when we say that it is also the perfect arm candy for Sunday mornings when you’ve been dragged out of bed, and are in need for something to double as your pillow while being chauffeured to brunch with your in-laws.

However, if you’re still unconvinced and are a die-hard fan of the classics which can never go wrong, why not go out of your comfort zone and pick classics, but with a twist? Think printed Antigonas, calf-skinned Sac de Jours or even iridescent Pashlis. The reinvention of classics has never been more exhilarating.

While you yank at your hair with those perfectly manicured nails as you decide between Lanvin’s Paper Bag in that gorgeous midnight blue shade that is the zenith of all slouchy silhouettes, or perhaps a Boy Versailles, we say get them all! After all, can a girl ever have too many bags? We didn’t think so too!
