“Just like in fashion, I believe that accessorising is the key to a great look when it comes to your home decor. While my furniture is fairly simple, I like small things that combine well and add character to my apartment hence my go-to place is Naiise. The Singapore-based e-tailer which now boasts 3 offline stores as well is great for such stuff. From the artsy kitchenware, a wine holder and my absolutely favourite Embrace Me cushions that I always get compliments for – I just wish I had a bigger place to fit all the quirky awesome some they have in store!”

Crate & Barrel, 2 Orchard Turn, #04-21/22, ION Orchard, S238801

“While I do love IKEA for affordable furniture, I have to say if I could own the entire Crate & Barrel store, my life would be content. The classic, sleek and minimalist style is exactly why I love the space. If you don’t find me at a bookstore, you’ll find me there picking out items for my future home.”

Supermama, 71 Bras Basah Road, S189555

“It’s a quirky store nestled in the heart of Bras Basah, fully stocked with the most adorable of knick knacks and gifts. Who wouldn’t love to walk into a store that makes them feel like home? I always feel the urge to buy everything in sight when I step in!“

Kwerkee (www.kwerkee.com)

“As the name suggests, there’s a whole range of ‘quirky’ knick knacks you can find here, all with interesting designs. You can even source for cool, out-of-the-box birthday gifts that’s suitable for anyone. I especially love their wall decals! Plus point, they’re a local brand.”

“I’m not a home and decor person. But I usually like to go into Iwannagohome to kill some time. There’s so many things I’ve been filing away for my future home from there.“
