Celebrated in the collections of Moncler and Zadig & Voltaire, the turban promises to be the next big thing in fashion-speak. Check out our 60 ideas to make the turban your best fashion accessory.

If you’re tired of the way you wear your hair, why not try adding a turban to those luscious locks and spice up that look a little? Besides being bold and creative, a turban also has the discreet function of helping you hide any exposed roots you may have. With its perfect blend of fun and functionality, it is no wonder that the turban has been sweeping the fashion world off its feet.

A lesson in history

With roots in Asian culture, the turban is a long scarf wrapped around the wearer’s head. While previously a religious garment in the Arab world, they have been popularized after taking the 2014-15 Autumn/ Winter season by storm, and are now sported by women everywhere.

How to wear it:

– You snoozed that alarm one too many times and now you’re running late. If you don’t have enough time to tame the frizzy morning hair, why not wrap a turban around it? Considering how easy it is, you’ll end up both early and fashionable.
– Though the midday heat can get unbearable, always leaving your house in a big hat is going to get a tad bit boring. Slip in a turban once in a while to freshen up your look and you would still manage to protect your scalp from those harmful UV rays.
– If you’re down for a beach holiday or party, pairing a turban with a gorgeous maxi dress will make you très chic.
