SAG Awards 2015: Our best and worst dressed stars on the red carpet
updated the 6 October 2015 à 23:22As the Oscars draw nearer, we look at the Screen Actors Guild Awards to get a sense on what to expect from the stars on the red carpet. Here are some of the looks which caught our attention.
For those of us who are looking forward to Oscars night, the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards red carpet was a good warm up – albeit a little less exciting one, style-wise.
While the misses were less than those at the Golden Globes, the hits were also fewer and not very striking as the starlets didn’t take many risks and left it pretty much safe.
The standout of the night was Emma Stone in a Christian Dior Couture menswear-inspired creation which proved that you don’t need a heavy crystal-encrusted gown to make an entrance (yes, we’re talking to you J Lo!)
As her second stunning – and fashion-forward – appearance this season, we really can’t wait to see what the Birdman star will be wearing at the Oscars next month.
However, the fashion fail of the evening was Jennifer Aniston whose vintage flimsy-looking Galliano number with plunging neckline was underwhelming and anything but glamorous – and was made worse by the fact it matched her hair colour.
Ladies were not the only ones who put effort on the red carpet – this time round, the guys stepped up their game as well with stars like Adrien Brody and Matthew McConaughey looking dashing. We assume they’ve been following the recent men’s fashion weeks in Europe.
Be it ladies or gentlemen, check out the list of our favourite – and least favourite – looks from the SAG Awards 2015 red carpet.
