Golden Globes 2015: Our best and worst dressed stars on the red carpet
updated the 6 October 2015 à 23:34As the awards season kicked off today with the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, we look at the celebrities who stood out on the red carpet – for the right or wrong reasons.
The awards season is upon us and brides-to-be had a lot to take inspiration from this year at the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards red carpet, as white – and shimmer – dominated the red carpet for the second year running.
But while the colour of choice was not something new, some of the looks were definitely show-stopping like Kate Hudson‘s sexy Versace number and Salma Hayek‘s Alexander McQueen gown which oozed glamour. Others who failed to impress include Keira Knightly in her frumpy Chanel – which in our opinion resembled a granny’s getup – and Hollywood’s It girl of the moment Rosamund Pike whose bridal Vera Wang gown was ill-fitting and unflattering for the otherwise stunning actress.
White aside, we were blown away by some of the more unusual choices like Lorde‘s sleek tuxedo by Narciso Rodriguez, Felicity Jones‘ impossibly elegant emerald Dior gown and Jessica Chastain’s sultry yet sophisticated Versace look.
Many more stars caught our attention on the first major red carpet event of the year so here’s a roundup of our 20 best and worst dressed from the Golden Globe Awards 2015.
