Get the Look: Osman Spring 2016’s monochrome layers
updated the 6 October 2015 à 22:28Black and white never go out of style, as Osman demonstrates at its latest LFW show. Find out how to get the look below.
London label Osman took our breaths away for the upcoming Spring 2016 season with a collection filled with heavy tiered layers, bright painted prints and minimalist monochromes. We zoom in on a look that reminds us of Japanese martial arts costumes infused with a modern flair.
Long, flowy layers create an elongated figure, so don’t shy away from donning a long top over a maxi skirt. Belt up a black boxy silk top with a waist-cincher that may seem too wide at first, but is the perfect accessory for showing off (or faking) a slim waist and controls a billowing silhouette. Pick a black and white maxi skirt to float around in for the day, and reach new heights with black suede stiletto pumps.
Accessorise minimally with a black headband and work the barely-there makeup look with brushed brows and a nude-pink lipstick.
