#Whatsinmybag: 10 Must-have things to keep in your bag
updated the 10 February 2016 à 10:09From versatile vaseline to a roll-on perfume, find out some of the taken-for-granted items you should always have in your bag.
Keeping your bag organised may be challenging, as most of us would have the nagging tendency of throwing all kinds of things inside. From used tissue to sweet wrappers, we’ve all been there.
Clearing your bag regularly is a healthy habit we should adopt, and of course, knowing what to put inside is what matters most. Here is a list of items to keep yourself feeling good, at your own convenience.
Hand sanitizer. A mini thumb-sized sanitizer should always be in your bag. Not only does it keep your hand germs-free, it acts as a natural perfume. Bath & Body Works PocketBac anti-bacterial hand gel is a powerful germ-killing formula enriched with Tahitian palm milk that leaves your hand feeling clean and virtually clean.
A packet of tissue. You should have both dry and wet tissues on hand – you never know what you might have to clean up.
Compact mirror and matching comb. No, your iPhone front camera does not work as well as a mirror. Keep it in the small compartment of your bag and whip it out casually after dinner without having to go to the toilet to catch food remnants in between your teeth. Also, keep your hair sleek and manageable with a convenient comb.
A good pair of hydrating and muted lipstick. Yes, red and pink would be your preferred choice, but every woman needs to have a muted lippie in her bag. Sometimes the stark colour would jus be inappropriate.
Mint. It’s always wise to have a good supply of mints in your bag. Bad breath is never a good idea.
Vaseline. One of the most versatile beauty product around. From moisturising above your lip area to making your eyebrows look more manicured, the possibilities with this nifty product are endless.
A dental floss. A more hygienic option than toothpick, the doctor-recommended item improves your gum health and keeps it clean.
Compact powder. A full day at work would tend to leave your complexion less flawless than it was when you first stepped out. Use the sponge powder to even out applied powder used in the morning. No need to re-apply powder.
A pair of stylish shades. Keep your delicate eyes safe from premature aging—in style—by donning on a pair of sun-protecting shades.
Perfume. A roll-on or stick-on fragrance is essential for an after-work perk-me-up while on the way to meet your date.
