Rather than drowning yourself in a swathe of fabric, go with well-fitted clothes instead.

Absolutely not!

You are a woman, not a sack of potatoes! And oversized clothes, whether you are skinny or tip more on the meatier side, is not the answer. Instead of the expected vanishing effect, a baggy outfit will tend to create a shapeless and unflattering appearance. Well-structured silhouettes are preferable and it won’t drown you in a cascade of fabric.
If you have larger hips, opt for high waisted, straight-cut jeans. You can trust belted tops, dresses and vests, a trend that is omnipresent in the Spring/ Summer 2015 runways. As far as stomachs go, the bulge of guilty pleasures will go unnoticed in a flared blouse. And let’s not forget our best friend, the shapewear.
