You don’t have to fly all the way to Japan to experience the cherry blossom season, Kotobuki Restaurant takes it straight to you.

Singapore is certainly not short of Japanese restaurants, but Kotobuki Restaurant takes it up a notch by giving diners the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomical intricacies of traditional kanto-style fare and the cosy ambience of an Izakaya-style setting. The snug and homely little nook at Wisma Atria is the perfect place to enjoy an intimate dining experience, and now that it’s springtime, the restaurant has the perfect themed menu to embrace the season of the cherry blossoms.

Taking on springtime hues and a unique smorgasbord of ingredients, expect the likes of pink-hued sushi rolls and sakura-flavoured treats from the restaurant’s Sakura Fair menu. From fresh Amaebi Sashimi (raw sweet shrimp) sitting pretty on a bed of ice to delicious morsels of Haru Inari Sushi (seasonal sushi rice in beancurd pockets) to hearty Tai Takikomi Gohan (red sea bream mix rice), you can expect explosions of flavour with every mouthful.

(Psst, we guarantee the Sakura Mosaic Sushi will look great on your Instagram feed).

Kotobuki Restaurant’s Wisma Atria outlet is located at #01-18/18B. For more information, visit Kotobuki’s website at kotobuki.com.sg or Facebook page at facebook.com/kotobukiSG. The Sakura Fair menu is available from now until 30 April 2017.
