As the newest option in town, this restaurant in MBS is set to please with its satisfying selection of broths and more. It was worth the wait!

Hotpot Kingdom brings a modern décor alongside a comforting and hearty traditional food to customers. The restaurant takes pride in offering the finest and freshest of ingredients, as well as displaying an extensive à la carte menu.

Choose your favourite broths out of ten flavourful soups, ranging from spicy to Macanese pork bone, bak kut teh or herbal chicken soup. At least one will be bound to suite your taste. With its bright red colour, the spicy soup is our preferred choice, but be prepared to handle the heat.

While pots are left to simmer for hours to deliver the best aroma and seasoning, pick from a wide array of fresh seafood and premium meat cuts – from lobster, crab, oyster, cuttlefish, scallops, live prawns and more. Meat lovers will also be satisfied with the Japanese wagyu striploin (SGD75/100g), kurobuta pork belly (SGD14) or US Black Angus (SGD32/100g). The drunken chicken (SGD20), marinated in red wine, is also exceptionally delectable.

Original, classic, spicy or sweet? We had fun creating our own dipping sauce. Mix, combine and stir with a selection of 12 different condiments and you might just come up with a unique creation yourself.

Hungry for more delicacies? Displayed elegantly on soup spoons, the hand-made meatballs are served on individual or combined platters (SGD12/6 pieces). Alongside that, we also relished in homemade fish paste noodles (SGD10). It’s safe to say, we might have indulged a bit too much that day.

Instead of backing down, we bravely continued our meal with must-have Hong Kong style dim sum – ranging from steamed coriander and shrimp (SGD6.80), to an original Shumai with Black Truffle (SGD8.80) or a baked abalone chicken stuffing in cream sauce (SGD10.80). Thereafter, we ended our feast – literally – on a lighter note with a refreshing Chinese herbal jelly.

We truly loved the charm of the restaurant and enjoyed the fresh food. We had such a great time that we almost forgot to go back to work. So, make a trip down, brace yourselves and relish in the Hotpot Kingdom experience at Marina Bay Sands.

Hotpot Kingdom is located at #B1-01B, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue
