Cook, eat and shop to your heart’s content at this at this newly launched contemporary kitchen studio serving all food aficionados in town.

A three-in-one experience for the food and cooking aficionado, The Kitchen Society is Singapore’s answer to a one-stop communal culinary portal for a unique and immersive experience.

The contemporary studio, housed within an award-winning shop house along the central stretch of River Valley Road, will offer gourmets a culinary adventure of sorts. From cooking classes for home chefs or people looking to polish up their cooking skills, to a chance to eat the finest foods – from a selection of seasonal themes – and to shop for all the right equipment to get the journey started or enhanced.

Under Cook, one can find everything they need to become a master of the kitchen, including normal cooking classes, to classes conducted by master chefs that cost anywhere from $200 to $500 per class. Although the price might sound a little steep, the classes are concentrated to only eight or ten students, maximum, in order for an intimate cooking experience. The sleek and modern kitchen is also fully-equipped, making for an optimum cooking environment.

For the editorial line of Bake & Brew this September and October, patrons can expect some big local names to share their kitchen secrets, like chef Celeste Chew, baker Shona James, and published cookbook authors Elodie Bellegarde and Vivian Pei, amongst others. November and December will see a different theme – ‘Sweet Little Treats’, to coincide with the festive season.

Under Eat, The Kitchen Society aims to follow a seasonal theme pattern, through creating authentic imagery and story telling. The themes will include Themed Ingredients, Feature Stories, Culinary Events, Product Reviews, amongst other things.

But one can only truly call themselves a food aficionado once they’ve not only perfected cooking and enjoying the food, but also have the best possible tools to do both of those things! Luckily, The Kitchen Society has thought of all of that for you and you can find carefully reviewed and selected kitchen items from reputed brands such as WMF, Silit, Kitchenaid, Magimix etc., under their Shop section.

So, while classes may only commence in September, The Kitchen Society is already open to the public, as of Monday the 18th of August. So head on down and re-ignite your love affair with food at this dedicated culinary destination.

We’ll see you there!
