Hideaway Cafe
Located in Pham Ngoc Thach Street right in the Heart of Saigon, Hideaway Cafe is what was once a French villa. Its white-washed brick walls, stained concrete floors and impressive bar area boasting a great selection of imported wines will ease you right into the restaurant’s ambience and your meal right away.
The cafe has a great selection of your standard Western cafe fare to go along with your coffee. Give their delicious Espresso a go and top it with a plate of their Sticky Toffee Pudding. With its pretty interiors and great coffee and grub, Hideaway Cafe is the place to be a for a casual coffee fix.

Id Cafe
There are currently 2 outlets of this cafe in District 1 and District 3. The District 1 outlet is tucked, slightly unassumingly, along a stretch of shophouses. Don't be fooled, however; the coffee and food selection here is worth your every dollar.
If you're planning to grab a bite here, definitely try their Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee and one of their specialty ones made of coffee, peanut, whipped cream and chocolate syrup! It will be the perfect cool down on a warm day in the city.

L’usine
L'usine is a retail space, cafe, and gallery in heart of Ho Chi Minh, with two outlets now in the city. Housed in a colonial era French building with distinctive architectural features, the ground floor showcases its retail collection, with major labels from around the world.
Climb up the spiral staircase and you'll find yourself in the spacious vintage-designed cafe with its swivel chairs and reclaimed wooden tables. Expect European cafe classics like salads, sandwiches and pastas, as well as its signature coffee and cakes, and an amazing all-day breakfast menu. All their food is freshly hand-made on-site, so you can expect great meals for when you're feeling a little peckish!

Monkey in Black
Monkey in Black is a retro coffee lounge with a beautifully designed interior that hipsters will appreciate and Instagrammers would love. The exposed brick walls are decked with funky wall art and decor, and its sleek wooden tables and comfortable seats make for an overall great ambience to enjoy a cuppa.
The coffee served here is as unique as its decor; for one, all its beverages are served in edible cups! Besides its great coffee selection, also give the fruity drinks and cakes a try. This place is definitely a must-visit for those looking to have a taste of the cafe scene in Ho Chi Minh City.

D’anver Coffee & Lounge
D’anver Coffee & Lounge stands out from the rest of the cafes in Saigon’s dining scene. For starters, unlike the new establishments in town that tend to embrace a more casual and rustic vibe, the cafe is reminiscent of upscale cafes popular in the city decades ago.

La Rotende
La Rotonde, centrally located in District 1, is rather easy to find and looks beautiful from the street. Housed in a colonial shophouse, you have to ascend a flight of stairs to get to the cafe. You might find that La Rotonde is reminiscent of old Saigon and feels slightly Parisian. The spacious cafe has a lofty central interior with high ceilings and large windows that offer great views of the financial district. The entire space is bathed in natural light, with Southeast Asian art and photos of vintage Saigon adorning its walls.
