Tucked in a corner of one of Jakarta's streets is PICK-ME-UP, a cosy spot where you get to enjoy some great coffee that will not disappoint. Upon entering the little store, be greeted with a view of clean white walls and yellow accents that will certainly delight. Try their Caffe Mocha for a little extra chocolatey twist to your regular cup-of-joe, or go for the piccolo latte for a stronger kick.

Coffee AYA
Pasar Muara Karang is known for a few things, but having a simple and minimalist cafe might seem a bit out-of-character. Still, Coffee AYA has found a loving home around the area, setting itself up as one great coffeehouse that will definitely impress. Though the menu isn’t extensive, it focuses on the basics and enhances it, making it a pleasurable coffee experience.

One thing is for sure when you enter Bermvda Coffee — you’ll be lost for words at how delectable the food here is. The interior of the place perfectly matches the atmosphere: clean-cut while being extremely welcoming. Bermvda Coffee serves up a range of regular coffees, but they also have signature drinks that are uniquely theirs. Have a taste of their Salted Tiramisu drink or the Caramel Avocado, and be prepared to be amazed.

Woodpecker Coffee
Inspired by the Sydney cafe scene, Woodpecker Coffee was born to create an affordable yet homey space to serve up delicious coffee. And, yes, while the Flat White and Affogato are both delicious options, the Nutella hot chocolate has our mouths smiling. Try their Oreo Waffle if you’re feeling a bit pekish, and don’t forget to top it off with one of their six delectable ice-cream flavours.

NÔRD Coffee
Though NÔRD Coffee is rather cosy in size, waiting a bit extra to get a seat is definitely worth it here. With a concrete wall and white detailing, this monochromatic cafe in North Jakarta has proved itself to be a standout amongst the many. The hint of Star Wars decorating the place gives it a little extra personality, and their little bites with their drinks makes this a great place to hang out.

Kopi Kalyan
For a delicious cup of espresso coffee, you can’t go wrong with Kopi Kalyan. The space is rather big and spacious, allowing for bright light to enter easily. But, more than serving up good drinks in a good location, the menu also has amazing snacks and small bites that will fill your tummy up. So if you’re looking for manual brewed coffee and pisang goreng, you know where you should head to!

Nala Coffee
Bringing things back to the basics is Nala Coffee, with their slick and precise interior that will leave you fully satisfied. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows give off an illusion of a large interior, making dining here extremely comfortable. There are currently two locations available, one in the AD Premier Building and the other in Ruko New Jasmine Extension, so you can get your quick fix no matter where you’re at.

One Fifteenth Coffee is no stranger to the cafe game in Jakarta, having been operating since their opening in 2012. A delightful atmosphere embraces you from the get-go, with thick and delicious coffee that will certainly fill you up. And, for further testament, they have just opened up a second cafe in Seminyak with the Potato Head Family, so you know they are truly serious about coffee.

Much like NÔRD, Ruang Seduh is filled with Star Wars memorabilia that will make you feel like you’ve entered the universe. The unique thing (aside from their minimalist Stormtrooper decor) about Ruang Seduh is that you can choose to make your coffee yourself, learning how to brew your cup to your personal taste. There are also movies playing occasionally, so be sure to grab a cup before the show starts.
