Why pick the usual chocolate or cheese cake when you can choose a lychee martini cake instead?

Cake is a well-loved dessert far and wide, usually eaten during celebrations such as birthdays or simply as a satisfying way to end off a meal. In fact, cakes can be eaten at any time of the day, as breakfast, tea or even supper, as long as you crave a little bit of sweetness in your mouth. The health-conscious may be concerned about the amount of calories consumed when it comes to a slice of cake, but the foodies may just argue that the calories are well worth it.

In recent years, it seems that typical cake flavours have not been enough to feed consumer demand. Nowadays, we’re constantly on the look out for something different – something to excite our tastebuds. Perhaps this search for change has sparked the introduction of unique and wacky cake flavours that are on the rise these days, ranging from a yummy salted caramel cake to the likes of white chocolate Kyoho grape.

In this article, we attempt to showcase the most unique cake flavours that can be found in this tiny city. You may or may not fancy them, but perhaps you know someone who will, and then you’ll know what to get for his or her next birthday.
