Hidden in a two-storey shophouse along Prinsep Street is the lovely Curious Palette, best described as a food Instagrammer's paradise. The spacious and brightly lit interior is decked out in calming shades of white and grey, accentuated by the wooden furniture - the perfect backdrop for their ultra-colourful berry ricotta hotcake!

Luxe
If you're after the quintessential Sydney cafe aesthetic, head to Luxe on Keong Saik Road. Think: stark white stucco walls, long communal tables lined with pale Scandinavian wood chairs, all accentuated with lashings of brass. Gorgeous.

PS.Cafe, Harding Road
With its bright, spacious interior surrounded by magnificent sprawling greens, PS.Cafe on Harding Road is the perfect refuge from the hustle and bustle of town. Though the cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, the high ceilings and glass walls give the impression that you're outdoors no matter where you sit.

Wimbly Lu Chocolates
Best known for their beautifully light and airy waffles, Wimbly Lu is a favourite amongst locals for a lazy Sunday brunch. The decor is cosy and casual with exposed brick walls, dark wooden floors, and comfy reading books hidden throughout. Wimbly Lu is the perfect place to spend the morning with a great coffee and an even greater book.

The Coffee Academics
Amongst the swanky high-end boutiques of Scott's Square is The Coffee Academics. An interesting blend between a cafe and a science laboratory, the restaurant is unlike any other in Singapore, with 7 separate areas, each with its own theme. Our favourite spot is the hand brew bar, a Japanese style sit-around bar complete with tatami mats.
