Give macaroons cakes, tarts, mousses, and truffles a twist with these irresistible white chocolate recipes.

Loved by some, ignored by others, white chocolate is the controversial melange of cocoa butter, sugar, milk and vanilla. Most chocolate lovers are dismissive of white chocolate and claim it is not the real deal as opposed to milk or dark chocolate. Different, yes, but not any less authentic in the cocoa ranks considering 45% of its mass comes from the cocoa pod. White chocolate has none of the cacao mass, hence the delicate, ivory-like color, which it gets from the cocoa butter.

Whatever your stance on white chocolate, leave it at the door. You might have not enjoyed the whole product on its own as a chocolate bar, but when included in dessert recipes, from cakes to tarts, it can work wonders on the taste buds.

This week, it’s all about cocoa of the white kind and we’ve picked out the best mouthwatering easy-to-accomplish recipes from our sister site Gourmand Asia that will please the fans and haters alike!
