5 Chocolate Recipes: Grandma’s Chocolate Cream

Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 125 g 70% Lindt Chocolate Cooking Cocoa
- 40ml of milk
- 35ml of liquid cream
- 6 egg yolks
- 150 g caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon coffee vanilla extract
Method:
1. Grate the chocolate. In a saucepan, mix the milk and cream on medium heat.
2. Meanwhile, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until a clear and frothy cream is obtained.
3. Stir in the cornstarch and the milk and cream mixture.
4. Pour into a saucepan. Stir over low heat constantly, until the cream thickens, but without boiling.
5. Put off the heat, add the grated chocolate and vanilla extract
6. Mix well.
7. Divide cream cups. Let cool, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
