BREAD

Wholemeal bread or sandwich bread? Wholemeal if possible as it will be absorbed more slowly by the body. You will have energy for the rest of the day and the hunger returns less rapidly this way. If you do not necessarily crave hamburger with bread, trade in your 2 slices of bread against 2 slices of tomato or roasted peppers.

MEAT

The heart of the burger! Here several possibilities. First, ask your butcher for lean meat. You can also opt for the burger to have 15% fat, a slice of ham and then some white meat such as chicken breast. Do not forget the fish: a beautiful salmon fillet can be a real treat for your taste buds.

TRIMMINGS

Opt for fresh vegetables, vary as much as you can, the number of hamburger recipes is almost endless! Zucchini, onions, pickles, eggplant, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage, peppers, mushrooms and anything you want. Create your own recipes according to your preferences.

SAUCES

The secret to a good burger is in its seasoning. Avoid sauces that are too fatty and play on salt, pepper, Tabasco, tomato sauce, mustard, spices and herbs.

THE SIDES

Leave the chips to your guests and turn to sticks of raw vegetables soaked in a white cheese sauce. You may be even  surprised to see your guests asking you to share. Consider vegetable chips as well!
