Serves 2 | Takes 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 kg of green asparagus (frozen)
4 shallots
1/ 4 bunch of chervil
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp tablespoons soy sauce
1 tsp pepper
Method:
1 . In the wok , boil salted water and immerse the asparagus. Cook for 5 minutes, then drain.
2 . Peel and chop the shallots. Thin out the chervil in a wok and heat the vegetable oil. Add sesame seeds and scallions. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
3 . Add the asparagus and cook for another 5 minutes
4 . Stop the heat, add the sesame oil, the soy sauce, fish sauce and chervil . Stir and serve immediately.
Top Tip:
Always try and use small asparagus. Large ones are often stringy, harder and far too long to cook.
