There are never enough reasons to change up your hairstyle – so here are our favourite hair inspirations from Seoul Fashion Week!

With every season comes a refresher course on trends. What length of skirts to sport or what if florals continue to dominate polka dots and stripes – trends never cease to keep us on the edge of seats at fashion weeks.

Beyond clothes, we’re most thrilled about giving our hair a makeover. Should we finally consider the chop and rock a bob or should we hold on to our long tresses and switch the parting? The options may seem endless but Seoul Fashion Week has given us a breather with their edit of hairstyles to wear this Fall.

From retro bouffants to loose ponytails and the tricky centre parting, here is our guide to the season’s hairstyles that you’d be seeing on the streets soon enough! Best still, all the looks and suitable for Asian fine hair – so no excuses to not experiment this season.

Loose ponytail

Seen at Nohke and Johnny Hates Jazz, the low ponytail when coupled with a centre parting results in an effortlessly messy yet soft and romantic look.

Bouffant

With the bouffant that was seen on Miss Gee‘s runway, simply backcomb hair to achieve maximum volume and keep the front section smooth to go over and cover the backcombed hair.

Centre parting

The centre part was a familiar sight on the runway as it was spotted at Jarret and Rshemiste. At first glance, it might seem tricky to master and suitable for few face shapes but it is in fact a versatile look. Use a tail comb and accurately part your hair down the middle. Blow-dry the rest of the hair straight for a sleek finish.

Dip-Dye

The dipped end hairstyle was coming to a grinding halt but Jarret revived the trend with more technicolor vibrancy.

Sleek & Smooth

At Lie Sang Bong, hairstyles were kept flat to the head with added high shine. Achieve the look by using lots of gloss and this look would also be a saviour in the frizzy hair department.
