Eco-friendly 101: Unplug

Go green and stop leaving carbon foot prints everywhere you go. For starters, follow these simple tips.

Since 1970, us earthlings get to celebrate our planet every year on April 22nd. But this phenomenon we call Earth Day where we chip in on environmental conservation shouldn’t be an annual thing; it should be a daily ritual.

Being eco-friendly is a lifestyle, one you can adopt anywhere, anytime. If the concept of living green is new to you, consider easing into the lifestyle with baby steps. At home, for instance, start opting for paperless billing if you haven’t already. It doesn’t seem like a big change, but it reduces paper use significantly. Before you leave for work, pack your own lunch with a reusable container (discover more ways to eat sustainably here.) And when you’re ready to log off at the end of the day, be the first one at your office to unplug your own work stations.

These little actions don’t sound so hard, do they? Take a look at our gallery for more simple gestures on how to be eco-conscious from this Earth Day onwards!
