Tired of aimlessly trying to lose weight? Not sure how to start eating healthy and exercise? We picked a handful of diets for you to choose from.

It’s no secret that “losing weight” or “eating healthy” frequents our New Year’s resolutions. If you haven’t started that yet, let us give you a kick-start with a list of the best diets to follow in 2015, along with some practical tips. Just in time to get started before February starts!

DIET DOESN’T RIDE SOLO

Contrary to recent beliefs, there is no pill that can replace exercise. The fact that abs don’t just appear after days of eating greens is proof that exercise optimizes your diet. Nowadays, gyms and swimming pools are not the only places to exercise. With a laptop, internet connection and enough space to move, you have everything you need to break a sweat!

FINDING WHAT WORKS FOR YOU

Have you attempted to follow a diet plan in vain? Most likely it was too restrictive and inflexible. If your diet plan contains fish or apples and you don’t like them, there are always ways around that. Customize your diet to your liking, but that doesn’t mean you can cheat with a greasy burger instead!

It’s also wise to cherry-pick your diet according to your objective. If your goal is weight loss, then the famous Weight Watchers is your best friend. If you are trying to fight hypertension, then you might want to try the DASH diet.

But at the end of the day, what is the best diet for you? The one you can stick to!
