Why: This chic picnic is back for the third year running. Featuring an all-white theme, the allure of this unique dining experience is, apart from the affordability ($40 per head), it is exceedingly romantic. Diners are invited to write their hopes and dreams on a special card and slip it into their champagne bottles and let it glide out into the water. On the 5^th, 12^th and 19^th of July, you can look forward to Purrzaars (Bazaars) as well.

Where: Esplanade Theatres on The Bay; Café 21 Living Room at the Concourse and Music Station at the Outdoor Theatre
Why: Transport yourself to the jazz era, without paying a penny, at the Esplanade this July. Listen to established and emerging local Jazz bands and be dazzled by the improvised sultry beats as you enjoy a drink or two.

Why: The People of Singapore project was inspired by the popular Humans of New York website, when investment-banker- turned-freelance-IT-consultant Robin Rheaume decided to take on the project of encouraging Singaporeans to get to understand each other better, through her lens. Artistic platform EtiquetteSG, who are dedicated to showcasing work by female artists, has curated a show of 16 of Rheaume’s photos, entitled Women of Singapore. Be sure to check out this
