Why are we so terrible with foreign (or even our native) languages when people all over the world are so often multilingual? A poor result in a time where speaking another language is almost a necessity, a natural consequence of globalization and internationalization. We can blame it on being too busy with work, on our dislike of our teachers, or on the fact that English is after all, one of the most used official languages in the world…but the fault lies in ourselves, too, in our grand inhibitions. And speaking of which, that is enough, let’s stop underestimating ourselves! Because research proves it: everyone is able to constantly put themselves to it and succeed in having conversations, in making presentations, in successfully travelling…just on the simple condition that we get past our own fears.
