At Christmas you may have slightly over-indulged but managed to survive somewhat delicately. Now to get your body back into shape and be better prepared to face the 1st of January.

If a miracle cure was around to relieve fatigue, headaches and nausea in a snap then everyone would know. Until that happy day (hope it happens soon!) comes, it’s best to be reasonable or rather learn to manage the aftermath of a night of partying (the head, stomach, morale, etc …). Everyone has their little “trick” against hangovers but there are still things that work better than others and then there are some to avoid.

The anti-hangover pill: Does it work?

In recent months, a pill meant to reduce calorie intake by alcohol absorption was released. Known as Zeocal, it contains zeolite, a microporous mineral which acts as a a sponge by absorbing ethanol molecules present in the blood. Besides minimising the number of pounds you put on, this process also supposedly minimises the “hangover” effect but it is still too early to note its efficacy.
