Why: As the sole importer of Shinwa Japanese Clay Products in Singapore, Craft-It-Yourself teaches you how to make miniature clay figurines, pastries and flowers which can be used as hair accessories, earrings, wedding favours, wedding hand bouquets. Corporate workshops are available too.

Naiise Polymer Clay Necklace Workshop

Why: Love colours and beads? This one's for you! Designer Averagejo will equip you with the skills to make your own clay necklace. In the workshop (SGD138), she will be sharing with you some tips on colour theory to better complement the wide array of colours available, some basics on polymer clay and techniques on how to create polka dots and stripes on your beads.

Public Garden Silver Ring Workshop

Where: 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace, Level 3
Why: The silver ring workshop with Yuki Mitsuyasu Web (SGD102.50) is on everything you need to know about how to fabricate a ring from a strip of 925 silver using traditional silversmithing methods. Make your own ring from scratch while picking up techniques including bending a strip of silver, soldering, filing and buffing. Idea: come as a couple and make your partner an original ring!

The General Co Leather Stitching Workshop

Why: Conducted by Stone for Gold, the workshop entails introduction to the fundamentals of stitching leather. You will get to work with various leather craft tools, such as the chisel forks, mallet, stitching needles, wax and threads. Furthermore, you will learn to thread, punch and sew leather pieces into a little pouch suitable for your mobile phones or accessories or a passport holder for your travelling journeys.

Clay Street Clay Affection Class

Why: The 6-sessions foundational course (SGD270) will kick off your relationship with clay. You'll first be introduced to basic techniques of pinching, coiling, hollowing and slab building. Concrete Casting 101

Why: Conducted by Desinere, the introductory course (SGD125) will teach participants the basics of concrete casting from a plastic sheet template to create a either a smartphone stand or a concrete clock.
