The wait is finally over as Mulberry unveils one of it’s most sincere and personal collaborations to date with Britain’s iconic model Cara Delevingne.

Alas, the Mulberry mystery has been solved and the air of secrecy has been lifted as the Mulberry Cara Delevingne Collection is born.

Following the trend of collaborating with It girls in the scene which led to the Alexa and the Del Rey, Mulberry is spot-on in nailing their next It girl who effortlessly embodies the Mulberry spirit; and she is none other than Britain’s most iconic and highly coveted model, Cara Delevingne.

A mile away from Delevingne’s notorious clear plastic bag which presumably contained talcum powder, the collection boasts of practicality and understated elegance which aims to personify Delevingne’s charisma and quirky demeanour, while preserving Mulberry’s identity and signature simultaneously. Versatility did not leave the equation as well as Delevingne quips “My Granny will like this bag. She’s one hundred and two years old. My five year old cousin will probably like this bag. He’s a boy.” So fret not Delevingners, there will be one for every body regardless of age or gender!

No doubt the three-in-one concept and adorable lion rivets was love at first sight that left us all starry-eyed, what truly swept us away and won our hearts over was Delevingne’s dedication to the collection and obsession over perfecting every detail. Every material used, down to the every last buckle and strap was meticulously mulled over by Delevingne herself. A refreshing change from collections with celebrity names casually slapped on them, no?

Our only issue with this collection? The painful wait till August!

The Mulberry Cara Delevingne Collection is scheduled to launch from mid-August 2014 and will be stocked in selected Mulberry stores, concessions and online worldwide.
