Believe me when I say there are plenty of locations in the land down under where you can enjoy a wild safari getaway. Yes, with actual giraffes and zebras and all that jazz.
It might seem a little too good to be true and yes, we were surprised as well, but after much research, you’ll find that Australia offers some fantastic lodges that overlook rolling plains of grass where herds of animals roam freely. The Zoofari Lodge in New South Wales, for example, gives guests the opportunity to stay in one of their 15 luxurious African-inspired lodges that feature a fancy bed, private en suite, mini-bar, and furnished veranda that looks out towards a paddock.
