The Gallup has tested 135 countries and ranked them by overall well-being. Take a look at the top 10 countries where people are happy and life is great!

It’s Panama – a small country in Central America – which comes on top of the Gallup institute and Healthway society’s ranking, that specialises in the management of chronic diseases and overall wellness. The survey is based on objective criteria, such as the financial situation of the people, their health, the environment, but also more subjective aspects such as having flourishing social relationships. No fewer than six of the ten best rated countries are in Latin America.

Perhaps surprisingly, no fewer than six of the ten best rated countries are in Latin America. The report emphasizes in this regard that, in such studies, Latinos usually appear to be happier than people in other parts of the world, reflecting a cultural tendency to focus on the positive aspects of life.
