Ao Nang Beach
While Ao Nang Beach does not rank as one of our favourite beaches in Krabi, the sunset here is pretty magical. Grab an ice-cold drink or two, sink your feet into the sand and enjoy the warm glow of the sun as it descends.

Ko Poda Island
Koh Poda, with its white sands and piercingly clear crystal waters, is every traveller's dream. Located just six kilometres offshore from Ao Nang, it takes only 25 minutes to get there a long-tail boat which takes you on a scenic boat ride through the majestic cliffs on the Andaman Sea. The accommodation and infrastructure are rather limited on the island, with only one beach restaurant and bar near the arrival point. There is also a small and rather pricey hotel, Poda Island Resort, which means you can choose to stay the night after catching the sunset.

Railay Beach
Railay Beach is, in fact, a small peninsula consisting of four beaches - Ton Sai (popular among backpackers), West Railay, East Railay and Phra Nang. Accessible only by boat, Railay Beach is a prime spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset in amidst the breathtaking emerald waters and powdery sands framed by the imposing karst cliffs.

Tiger Cave Temple
Tiger Cave Temple, also known as Wat Tham Sua, is located near Krabi Town. To reach the top of the temple, you'll have to make a challenging 1272-step climb up a steep limestone tower. Once you do make it to the top however, you'll be greeted with a truly rewarding panoramic view of the lush surrounding countryside and the Andaman Sea, that is especially breathtaking during sunset.

Ko Lanta
Once a hotspot for backpagers, Ko Lanta has morphed into a mid-range to luxury island getaway for tourists who come for the infinite stretch of white beach unpolluted by jetskis. The island boasts of stunning scenery, beautiful white sandy beaches and coastlines dotted with over 70 small islands, which makes for a beautiful spot to catch the sunset. Plus, if the loud party scene of Ao Nang is not your cup of tea, you'll appreciate the quieter vibe of Ko Lanta.
