So, whether you’re lounging by the side of your condo’s pool with your favourite magazines and a cocktail, or jet-setting off to a private island for a romantic getaway, here our tips to spicing up your 2014 swimwear collection and looking fashionable – whilst you’re having fun in the sun.
Sporty Bikinis: Ditch your girly swimsuits and go sporty-chic. Opt for bikinis that have mesh detailing, zippers or bold colours to channel your inner athlete. (An added bonus? They’re perfect for beach-volleyball and surfing too!)
High-waisted bottoms: Accentuate your every curve (even if you don’t have any) with these universally-flattering bikini bottoms, choose all-black if you’re not too comfortable with the trend, but if you are – choose a pair in a bold colour or a vibrant pattern and you’ll have all eyes on you.
Cut-outs: Who said one-pieces can’t be sexy? Try one that has cutouts or mesh detailing – perfect for when you want to flaunt a little skin without showing the whole world what you’ve got.
Keep your accessories to a minimum this summer, opt for simple gold hoops and a couple of bracelets on one arm.
