Kristen Stewart is the face of new Gabrielle Chanel women’s fragrance

It would seem that the House of Chanel is smitten with Kristen Stewart.

It is hardly her first gig with the luxury fashion house, but it is clear that Kristen Stewart is one of Karl Lagerfeld’s most wanted, proving that the actress’ flair for capturing attention stretches far beyond the realm of big screen cinema.

Stewart has been an ambassador for Chanel since 2013, and following a number of successful runs in several dedicated campaigns, including serving as the campaign face of Métiers d’Art collections, Paris-Dallas in 2014, Paris to Rome in 2016, 2016/2017 makeup campaigns, and most recently fronting the campaign for the Grabrielle bag by Chanel, the actress is taking centre stage once again as the face of the new Gabrielle Chanel women’s fragrance.

The fragrance itself, created by Oliver Polge together with the Chanel Fragrance Creation and Development Laboratory, is Chanel’s first stand-alone perfume in 15 years. The campaign, slated for release in September, will see the release of a film, created and shot by British director Ringan Ledwidge, and a print ad headed by photographer Karim Sadli.

Stewart remains busy in the world of film. Her directorial debut Come Swim, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival later this month. As for onscreen performances, you’ll see her starring in psychological thriller Lizzie, directed by Craig William Macneill, which is set to premiere later this year.
