Watch: Kristen Stewart stars in Chanel’s ‘Once And Forever’ short film

Alongside Geraldine Chaplin, Kristen Stewart takes on the role of iconic designer, Coco Chanel in the latest Karl Lagerfeld-directed film.

After what seemed like countless behind-the-scenes images and talks about Kristen Stewart’s portrayal of Coco Chanel in an upcoming film, the wait has finally ceased. The storied fashion house released the 11-minute film at their Metiers d’Art show in Rome and all we can say is that the Hollywood starlet sure did not disappoint.

In her most stylish role to date, the film sees Stewart being casted to play Gabrielle Chanel in a fictional biopic. She appears in a short bob and bold brow, signature of the legendary designer’s look back in her younger days. What is particularly intriguing is how Stewart turns from this foul-mouthed actress who found fault with various aspects during the shoot to eventually understanding the subject and immersing herself into the role.

Alongside Stewart was Geraldine Chaplin who played an older Coco Chanel and trust us, she did it impeccably. Shot over two days at Luc Besson’s Paris studio in July, the film is no doubt done brilliantly. After all, with Karl Lagerfeld directing it, creativity was bound to ensue.

Watch the film above and let us know if Kristen Stewart nailed the role.
