If you find yourself taking a dip in the pool way too often, you might also find that your tresses are becoming a little battered. Not to fret, here are 5 mild shampoos to restore those locks of yours.

Living in Singapore, it’s almost expected that you’ll be by the pool or rather in the pool more often than you can count. Even better if you live in a condominium with a brilliant body of water just waiting for sheer indulgence.

However, if you’re a regular swimmer, you’ll find that between all the chlorine and other chemicals, your mane will become a little battered. So to prevent any further damage on your scalp and luscious tresses, here are 5 mild shampoos that you should have by your side post-swims.

How to PROTECT YOUR HAIR FROM CHLORINE:

– As much as you can, take a dip in the pool but avoid going underwater and wetting your hair.

– If you have long hair, tie it up into a top knot.

– For optimum protection, wear a swimming hat. It may not be a sexy look but neither is damaged hair. Note that silicone or rubber caps will protect better than a cloth cap.

– Apply a few drops of oil or moisturizer on your tresses where it’s dry and fragile.
