We love that every single one of its pencil also comes with a sharpener in the lid, as well as its own case and mirror. No question about this: the Nudestix matte lippie definitely gives liquid lipstick formulas a run for their money.

Lipsticks with a satin finish traditionally aren't as long-lasting as their matte counterparts, but the Clinique Long Last Lipstick still does a good job of keeping its 'freshly-applied' look for hours. If the feeling of dry, flaky lips aren't your thing, you'll love how creamy and moisturising this lipstick is.

The fact that this could last us through a relatively oily meal is certainly testimony of how budge-proof this lipstick formula is - pretty handy for all the pineapple tarts and bak kwa slices you'll be wolfing down! Despite that, it still feels comfortable on the lips. It comes in a delightfully wide range of finishes and colours. For the metallic shades, get creative and use it as a lip topper or as a liquid eyeshadow!

If you love a true, retro matte finish (hence its name), you'll like the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour. We love its intense colour payoff and how budge-proof it is, though as with the case with many liquid lipstick formulas, its staying power and consistency can vary from shade-to-shade.

Boy, this is one matte lip that won't budge - although that depends on which shade you choose, as its staying power is not consistent across the different colours.
