Sometimes you might get up in the morning dreading the long work day ahead. Now, the last thing you want to do is to have to think of how you should wear your hair, so you wear it the same way you wore it yesterday…and the day before, and the day before that. But with little to no effort at all, you can make small changes to your hairstyle to look a little different from the day-to-day! Read on to find out how.

SWITCH YOUR PARTING

Almost everyone is born with a natural parting in their hair, or a side to which their hair tends to fall. If yours is a side part, create a new one on the opposite side and lift your hair to switch it over for instant volume at the roots. If your hair is a little on the thin side and this doesn’t work out for you, try a part in the centre instead. This works best for those who don’t have short bangs, so the hair frames the sides of the face, elegantly creating a hippie-chic hairdo just waiting to be adorned with a flower crown.

WHIP OUT THOSE BOBBY PINS

A quick way to handle those pesky, stubborn bangs when you’re pressed for time is with a bobby pin or two. Part your hair in the centre and bring your fringe to the sides of the head before holding them in place with a bobby pin each. If your fringe is a little longer, make a side part and pin the bunch of hair right above the ear for a slicked-back effect.

TIME TO SHOW THOSE EARS

A ponytail can be a fresh way to update your style if you’ve been wearing your hair down too often. Also, you’ll look a lot neater and polished. In the same way, give yourself a sexy new ‘do by letting your hair down if you always tend to put it up in a ponytail or bun.

It’s all about the subtle changes ladies!
