You’ve got to hand it to the Kardashians.

They’re singlehandedly responsible for making that super sleek and long hair a la Cher trendy again; declaring that awkward knee-length denim cutoffs are not a fashion crime and – as of this week – bringing blue eyeshadow back.

A Metallic cobalt blue called Libra is a shade in our palette. @makeupbymario & I are both Libras & this shade of blue is special to us because I would fight against color & one time when I was on my phone & not paying attention he did a blue eye & I freaked out but then looked in the mirror I loved it! Over the weekend, reality star and beauty mogul Kim Kardashian launched her new KKW Beauty KKWxMario palette launch. The eyeshadow palette, created with her longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, is a beautifully curated colour combination of mostly neutrals and its showstopping shade: a cobalt blue eyeshadow.

Called ‘Libra’, this eyeshadow is a fierce and vivid high-impact shade of metallic cobalt. Forget what you thought about blue shadow looking dated, because this is definitely a look we’re expecting to see boldly dusted on the eyelids of celebrities on the red carpet.
