Pencil eyeliner
Pencils are usually what comes to mind when it comes to eyeliner as they allow for more control and don't smudge easily. The pencil can take you from day to night and is your best option for the smoky eye look. Black is your best bet if you want something that will match almost anything, although if you're fair-skinned, you might want to go for a less harsh colour like brown or navy blue. It's also great for waterlining or tighlining eyes and if you want to make your eyes appear bigger, choose a white colour instead.
