Find out how to recreate the R&B star’s sultry daytime look in a few simple steps.
Tomboy-turned-sex-symbol Ciara turned up at ESPN’s 2015 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPYs) Awards showing off her fit physique in a ravishing black gown and understated makeup.
Get her toned-down sultry look by starting with a flawless base. Swipe on foundation with a brush or sponge applicator and add some faint contour if you need definition. Frame the face with thick, natural-looking brows by using a dark brown pencil and generous strokes of a spooly to blend.
Move on to the eyes with just a black eyeshadow on the outer flick of the eyes and a gold or light taupe colour for the inner corner and centre of the lid. Here’s our tip: apply just the right amount of product to your tear duct by using the very tip of your pinky finger. Curl your lashes and finish off with a volumnising mascara.
Recreate Ciara’s pastel pink lips with a lip liner for a natural, matte look. Swipe a lip balm on top if you feel it’s too drying, and you’re ready for a girl’s day out!
