Beauty Review: Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel and Moisture Cream

Tied and tested – Here’s our verdict on the new and improved Water Bank Eye Gel and Moisture Cream from Laneige.
Is your skin crying out for much-needed moisture? If so, then you’re in luck because Korean brand, Laneige has something in store for you. The new and improved Water Bank Eye gel and Moisture Cream will give your skin the love and care it deserves.
How does it work? These particular products are customised for those who have dry to normal/sensitive skin. The formula features Laneige’s exclusive Biogene Technology and Hydro Ion Mineral Water that penetrate deep into the skin to combat dry, irritated areas.
Water Bank Eye Gel (approx. USD40 for 25ml): Relieve unwanted stress and tired eye-bags- the gel formula infused with ingredients such as Bilberry extract and Palm Tree fruit work to soothe and cool the eye area. After your normal facial cleansing routine, take a small bean-sized amount of the product and apply it under both eyes-using your ring finger, gently spread the gel all around around your eye- in a circle-like shape. Lightly press the product into the skin to relieve fatigue, improve circulation and cancel out any puffiness.
Water Bank Moisture Cream (approx. USD42 for 50ml): The rich cream infused with Squalane and Glasswort extract is customised to suit dry skin soothes redness and severe dryness. The cream combats dryness for 24 hours, leaving your skin with intense moisture. All you need to do is pop a small amount of the product to your forehead, cheeks and chin- gently rubbing and patting onto the surface of skin. The last step? Feel the thick cream work its magic without leaving any unwanted sticky residue.
Our verdict: If you are like me, and your skin suffers from substantial dryness and redness caused by irritation from the heat, humidity or air-con then these products are sure to work wonders for you. Immediately after application, I feel as though I have been gifted with new skin. It feels refreshed, and most importantly moisturised to the max. The eye gel takes a couple of minutes to completely sink in- but it’s totally worth it. The moisture cream is thick and luxurious, and absorbs into the skin almost instantaneously. These products are a life saver, definitely my favourite skincare routine for this summer! So, if you’re like me and are always looking for the perfect products that really do moisturise, give the water bank eye gel and moisture cream a try- You won’t be disappointed.
