Beauty review: Philosophy Resurface – The microdelivery dual phase-peel

How does it work?

The 2-step at home peel, resurfaces and rejuvenates dull, tired-looking skin. The product exfoliates deep within the skin’s surface, reducing signs of aging, improving clarity and promoting smoothness…all in just 3 minutes!

Whilst exfoliating and removing dead skin cells, the peel also delivers much-needed vitamin C and peptides.

How to use?

Step 1: To start off, apply a teaspoon of the resurfacing crystals to clean, dry skin. When done, gently massage your face with your fingertips in a circular motion for up to 60 seconds (do not be rough during this step – if you suffer with sensitive skin, use less pressure).

Step 2: Apply a thin layer of the activator gel over the resurfacing crystals – a warming sensation and foam will appear but this is normal. Let the product sit for 1 – 3 minutes. To further exfoliate the skin, continue massaging the face, however, we would not recommend doing this if you have sensitive skin. Finally, wash off with warm water and a face towel.

Our verdict:

Whether you are an avid traveler, or simply just want to treat yourself to a little something extra – this product works wonders. The first time I used this product, it broke me out slightly, however this is expected as it is pulling out and getting rid of all unwanted toxins. After a couple of uses, your skin becomes instantly smoother and visibly lighter. If you are looking for an at home spa experience that wont break the bank, you cannot go wrong with this peel, we take it everywhere with us! As an added bonus, the smell is ultra-relaxing.

Our tip: Keep use to a minimal, once or twice a week will do just the trick!
