Estee Lauder taps Irene Kim as their Global Beauty Contributor

From social media sensation to TV personality and model, it’s evident why Estee Lauder roped in the all round Korean It girl to join their team.
By now it’s evident that Korea faces no dearth of pop stars, It girls, beauty mavens or savvy style icons. Which is why it comes as no surprise that cosmetics and skincare giant, Estee Lauder tapped into Korea to rope in their very first Global Beauty Contributor, Irene Kim.
Having moved to Korea only three years ago, the 27 year-old boasts of multiple feathers on her hat as she juggles between being a model to YouTube personality, blogger and TV star, all of which propelled her further up the popular scale. As for learning about her new gig, she enthused “I was actually at a party in Los Angeles being introduced to Kendall, and my agent announced it in front of us both as a special surprise. My jaw dropped!” Jaws dropped indeed.
Now with her new role, Kim will be given access to the entire treasure trove of Estee Lauder products as she creates beauty tutorials, foresee beauty trends in Korea and may also get to dip her hands in product development. While all of that is still largely in the works, one thing is for certain and that is you can expect a whole lot of instant social media loving on her 500,000-strong Instagram account (@IreneIsGood).
So judging by her lilac-hued hair, refreshing personality and knowledge of the beauty industry, we’re thrilled to see what the Korean sensation will be doling out in the coming months!
