Anyoung haseyo! As 2015 draws to a close, we take a look at the beauty trends which have made K-beauty even more popular. As serious beauty junkies, we are hooked on these.
Year in, year out we get to see different beauty trends rise up and dominate the limelight. In the case of Asia, the rise of Korean beauty has been phenomenal with the breakthrough of many novel products. From skincare trends such as carbonated and rubber masks to makeup trends such as puffy eyes, 2015 has been a good year for K- beauty.
Korean or K-pop singers and actresses are known for their glowy skin and makeup looks. This year we saw a slight shift from the overly dewy trend. Many different companies have released a slightly more semi-matte version of their popular BB cushions – which is great for oily skin types who don’t necessarily need the additional ‘glow’ (if you know what we mean).
