The Japanese beauty giant gets innovative again with yet another addition to its Lightbulb family.
Liquid foundations tend to be our go to when we’re gunning for long wear and heavy coverage. However, for days when we’re just out running errands, there’s nothing like the relative ease of application with a nifty compact foundation.
Shu Uemura’s latest addition to their Lightbulb family is the UV Compact Foundation, available in 16 shades – each loaded with SPF30PA++++. Without compromising on coverage, the compact delivers a smooth, powdery appearance in one quick swipe.
With one finger deftly placed on the latest of innovations, this time, the Japanese brand’s secret lies in the double-sided sponge that comes with the compact. On the skin-soft side, the sponge is anti-bacterial and used for application of the powder. You may even apply it with a spritz of water on the sponge.
On the skin-smooth side, the sponge is texturally refined, gentle and water-resistant and used to smooth the powder into a luminous glow. Essentially, the sponge ensures an overall polished and even finish.
