Joëlle Ciocco, Skincare expert at L’Oréal Paris, gives us the secret to combating puffiness under the eyes! This regime should be done every morning.

What are under eye bags?

They are usually associated with water retention and fat accumulation under the eyelid. Bags tend to increase with age and sagging skin. When you are tired or live unhealthily (junk food, stress, lack of exercise, excess alcohol consumption…) they may appear larger.

A new gesture daily!

Jöelle Ciocco, an expert of skincare at L’Oréal Paris explains what gestures to adopt every morning (and evening if possible) to rid the puffiness under your eyes. As with any beauty routine – it is important to be consistent.

As indicated in the pictures above, the gestures are done in three stages

1. I raise the general lymphatic circulation (using my fingers to hook my chest and neck) for 1 to 2 minutes.

2. I stimulate the skin tissues of the face (using my fingers as a clamp) for 1 minute.

3. I revitalise the eyes (using my fingers as a clamp) for 1 to 2 minutes.
