YSL x Google Glass: Making your makeup application easier

Forgot how to use the latest eyeshadow you just bought? Or looking to discover new ways to apply your makeup? YSL cosmetics team up with Google Glass to give you some tips.
Makeup lovers can sometimes get sick and tired of remembering how to apply their numerous new beauty purchases – which initially seemed so easy to reproduce during the make-up demo. Well-aware of this frequent problem, YSL cosmetics have teamed up with Google Glass to kindly refresh their customers’ memories.
How does it work?
Customers first have to choose from a range of must-have products for the purpose of their makeup tutorial.
Then a YSL makeup artist begins his/her demo, describing the process aloud. During the application, the makeup artist wears the famous glasses, equipped with a camera, to film the procedure. From skin prep to statement lips, all the steps used to beautify the customer’s face are retained in a video.
Last but not least, the narrated video with step-by-step instructions and special beauty expert tips are emailed to the customer.
YSL is yet another brand who understands that the future of fashion is undeniably connected to technology. Unfortunately for us, this super-useful service is only available at the Bloomingdale’s 59th Street location in New York.
