The exhibition celebrates some of the best modern artist in the world with 30 striking prints from artists like Dali, Picasso and Chagall.

Sofitel isn’t just our favourite luxe boutique hotel that provides us with a place to rest our heads when we’re travelling, they’ve also got a taste for the arts. Expanding beyond the tastefully chosen artwork that adorns their hotels around the world, Sofitel is now the host behind the compelling photo exhibition “Revealed” which takes an intimate look at the world’s greatest modern artists at work as they reveal themselves to the photographer.

Curated by Pablo Picasso’s grandson, Olivier Widmaier Picasso, the worldwide exhibition will be showcased at three Sofitel Hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou this September, where for the first time ever, the Chinese public will have access to 30 unique photographs of the world’s most renowned names in modern art. Picasso, Dali, Miro, Chagall and Koons are just some of the big names that visitors to the exhibition can gawk at up close in the intimate settings of their workshops.

The China exhibition follows a world tour that highlights culture, one of the fundamental pillars of France’s leading luxury hotel chain. Aside from China, “Revealed” will also take place this year in Bangkok, Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne.

So all you art-lovers, if you’re ever in the Middle Kingdom, a trip to Sofitel’s “Revealed” exhibition should be high on your to-do list if you want to see Salvador Dali painting at the Paris Zoo, Jeff Koons styling a BMW for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Pierre Soulages crouching over a work in progress or Pablo Picasso eyeing a Dalmatian.

“Revealed” by Sofitel will be on exhibit in the following hotels in China throughout the Autumn of 2015 at: Sofitel Beijing Wanda – September 1  to 20, Sofitel Shanghai Hyland – October 13 to November 2 and Guangzhou Sunrich – November 13  to December 3.
